OUR MISSION

We visited a wide range of ‘discount’ theatre booths across London with the aim to source the BEST PRICED Upper Circle seat for The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium, May 2012. At this time the Box Office’s Upper Circle seat were priced between £9-25*. We visted tkts in Leicester square (London’s only official half price ticket booth) to see what ‘discounts’ they were offering along with the quality of their service.

PRICE £25.50 (quoted face value £25 with tkts adding a 50p booking fee)
SEAT Upper Circle, D 32 (I was also given a detailed explaination of this seat. However tkts do not have exact theatre seating plans)
PAYMENT/COLLECTION METHOD I could pay cash or card and would be given my ticket at the booth.
SERVICE The gentleman was very helpful and honest about the 50p booking fee. He was also angry when I told him the prices other vendors had been trying to sell me a seat at.
STAR PRACTICE YES – tkts is registered with STAR and is London’s only official half price ticket booth. I feel that my experience of tkts practice was in line with the STAR guidelines.
OVERALL tkts was by far the best booth I visited. The service and reliability is second only to the theatre box office.
