OUR MISSION

We visited a wide range of ‘discount’ theatre booths across London with the aim to source the BEST PRICED Upper Circle seat for The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium, May 2012. At this time the Box Office’s Upper Circle seats were priced between £9-25*. We visited Stargreen Box Office (20/21A Argyll Street, London, W1F 7TT), situated directly across from the Palladium’s own box office, to check out what ‘discounts’ they were offering along with the quality of their service. PRICE		£29.50 (quoted face value: £37.50)
SEAT		was told I would be in the ‘Upper Circle’, however I was not specifically told or shown a seat. When I asked to see my seat, the seat plan that was produced was not specific to the London Palladium and my seat location was shown to me in a general gesture to a box that read ‘Upper Circle.’
PAYMENT/COLLECTION METHOD		I could pay using either cash or card and I would receive my ticket there and then.
SERVICE		Whilst the seller was friendly and patient, I felt she was being purposefully vague about my seat location.
STAR PRACTICE		Whilst Stargreen Box Office is a member of STAR, I do not feel they fully adhered to the STAR code of practice as I felt the quoted face value of the ticket was not correct to the current official box office price and I also felt the seller was not providing me with clear information about the location of my seat.
