OUR MISSION

We visited a wide range of ‘discount’ theatre booths across London with the aim to source the BEST PRICED Upper Circle seat for The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium, May 2012. At this time the Box Office’s Upper Circle seat were priced between £9-25*. We visited what turned out to be yet another branch of London Theatre Bookings on Cranbourn Street to check out what ‘discounts’ they were offering along with the quality of their service. PRICE £31.50 (quoted face value was £37.50)
SEAT They did not have a seat plan but they did give me an exact number and assured me they were “good”.
PAYMENT/ COLLECTION METHOD Both cash and card would be accepted and tickets would be given there and then at the booth.
SERVICE Although they all look like their own independent booths, I discovered this outlet was another branch of London Theatre Bookings and a service trend (appart from few rude sellers) becam, beclear.
STAR PRACTICE London Theatre Bookings is a member of STAR. At this branch I felt their overall service was in line with STAR regulations, apart from the fact that they had twisted the truth of the face value and that I was not shown or explained to clearly where my seat would be.

OUR RATING: 3/5
