OUR MISSION
We visited a wide range of ‘discount’ theatre booths across London with the aim to source the BEST PRICED Upper Circle seat for The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium, May 2012. At this time the Box Office’s Upper Circle seat were priced between £9-25*. We visited Crest of London, situated next to the Empire Casino on Leicester Square, to check out what ‘discounts’ they were offering along with the quality of their service.
| PRICE | £39.50 (when I asked for the face value the seller simply said “ooh, a lot more!”) | |
| SEAT | Row C Upper Circle. Although I was told this was “just above the stage” | |
| PAYMENT/COLLECTION METHOD | I could pay with cash only and would receive my ticket at the booth. | |
| SERVICE | I felt the seller was being purposefully vague in order to confuse me. | |
| STAR | This outlet IS NOT registered or affiliated with STAR and therefore does not promote its practices | |
| OVERALL | This booth was expensive and I would not have been happy paying them in cash. |
