OUR MISSION
We visited a wide range of ‘discount’ theatre booths across London with the aim to source the BEST PRICED Upper Circle seat for The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium, May 2012. At this time the Box Office’s Upper Circle seat were priced between £9-25*. We visted Theatre Tickets & Bureau de Change to check out what ‘discounts’ they were offering along with the quality of their service. This booth does not have a website.
| PRICE | £45 (Quoted face value £40) |
| SEAT | I was told I would be in the “Circle” – when I asked what the “Circle” was, the vendor would not tell me. He also would not show me a seating plan. |
| PAYMENT/COLLECTION METHOD | I could pay cash or card and was told I could do “whatever” to collect my tickets. |
| SERVICE | The vendor was rude and treated me like I was stupid when I asked him to specify what the “Circle” was. He also told me that the Palladium was a ‘small’ theatre (it actually seats over 2,000 people). The only saving grace for this kiosk come mobile phone cover outlet was that they were honest about charging more than the theatre. |
| STAR PRACTICE | This outlet IS NOT registered or affiliated with STAR. This is clearly reflected in the quality of service. |
