OUR MISSION
We visited a wide range of ‘discount’ theatre booths across London with the aim to source the BEST PRICED Upper Circle seat for The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium, May 2012. At this time the Box Office’s Upper Circle seat were priced between £9-25*. We visited London Ticket Point on Rupert Street to check out what ‘discounts’ they were offering along with the quality of their service.
| PRICE | £36 (Quoted face value was £45) |
| SEAT | Unspecific Upper Circle seat |
| PAYMENT/ COLLECTION METHOD | I would have to pay cash (and was almost frog marched to the nearest cash point) and I would then be given a slip of paper to exchange for a physical ticket at the theatre. |
| SERVICE | The two ladies were friendly but purposefully charming. I got the impression that one of the women was searching her computer for tickets whilst I was talking to her, rather than having an allocated stock. |
| STAR PRACTICE | This booth IS NOT registered or affiliated with STAR and therefore does NOT uphold STAR’s practices |
