OUR MISSION
We visited a wide range of ‘discount’ theatre booths across London with the aim to source the BEST PRICED Upper Circle seat for The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium, May 2012. At this time the Box Office’s Upper Circle seat were priced between £9-25*. We visted the Theatre Tickets booth in the entrance of the Trocadero in Piccadilly Circus to check out what ‘discounts’ they were offering along with the quality of their service.
| PRICE | (“for you”) £35 Upper Circle (Quoted face valye £40) |
| SEAT | “Upstais”, when I asked what exactly this meant I was eventually told the “Upper Circle.” |
| PAYMENT/COLLECTION METHOD | I was told I could only pay with cash and that this would be the case at any nearby booth (although I found this was not true). I would be given my ticket at the booth. |
| SERVICE | The vendor extremely charming but deliberately vague. |
| STAR PRACTICE | This booth IS NOT registered or affiliated with STAR – this is evident in the booths practice |
