  1. TheatreLine are a JOKE. I have never experienced such bad customer service in my life!
I booked a theatre/meal deal to watch Billy Elliot in London and was guaranteed seats in the Stalls/Dress circle at Face value of £62.50. I even phoned up to double check this with them twice before going ahead and booking. I then revived my booking confirmation stating seats in Stalls/Dress Circle, which was great. Then I received another email with the seats allocation – Grand Circle at the back, literally the worst seats in the house at face value £37.50.
I had paid £59 per ticket (of which I bought 4).
I phoned them up to check and after being passed on to about 5 people and told to emails (which no-one replied to) I was passed to the Supervisor called Zara, who was the most un-helpful person who said there was nothing she could do, that it was an IT mistake on the website (even though I had spoken to a real person before booking who confirmed the same thing) and that she couldn’t rectify it as there were no seats in the Stalls/Dress circle available. So I checked myself and there WERE still seats available in both of these sections at the box office. Zara however said she couldn’t help as it would then come out of her pocket.
So unresolved I was offered the seats I wanted WITHOUT the meal I had already paid for.
All in all, total con, waste of time and more hassle and worry than it is worth. DO NOT USE THEATRELINE.COM
